Decoding the Fascia Part 1 is an intensive four-day, hands-on seminar exploring the embryological, anatomical and mechanical foundations of fascia, together with practical fascial techniques and their application in osteopathic practice.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR

Decoding the Fascia Part 1 introduces participants to the fascial system and its relevance to osteopathic practice. The seminar combines theoretical instruction, demonstrations and supervised practical work to develop a structured understanding of fascial patterns, tensions and treatment approaches.

The course explores the relationship between the structure and function of fascia and its role in clinical assessment and treatment. Participants will be introduced to fascial mechanics, fascial chains, listening techniques, induction techniques and structural approaches that can be integrated into osteopathic practice.

Key topics include:

  • Embryology and development of the fascial system
  • Anatomical organization of fascia
  • Fascial pathology and mechanics
  • Fascial tension and tensegrity
  • Fascial chains
  • Structural fascial techniques
  • Techniques of listening
